In my artwork, I am passionate about representing strong, bold women. I hope that my paintings can empower women, reminding them that their voices matter. We are stronger than we realize, and we are allowed to take up space. We don’t have to apologize for who we are. Let us stand in our own authenticity, remembering that when we share our light with the world, we inspire others to share theirs too. Once we believe in ourselves and trust ourselves, we are capable of anything we set our minds to.
When creating a painting, I like to start by creating intricate textures to build on. After that, I like to play with acrylic inks, letting the colors drip and flow across the canvas. This results in a mesmerizing mix of vibrant colors. On top of that, I start to paint the shapes of the women and animals featured in my paintings. At the end, I like to add little details like stars and vibrant highlights. All of this is to create the magical, finished paintings that you see here.
